Spring: Can We Talk? Topics of relevance to post Bar/Bat Mitzvah teens
Grade 9 Fall: The Tanakh What’s in the Hebrew Bible?
Spring: Journey Through Time Jewish History from Earliest Time
Grade 10 Fall: Journey Through Time Continued Modern Jewish History from 1492 to the establishment of the State of Israel.
Spring: No required course
Grade 11 Fall: The Holocaust – both periods in this semester. Students receive recognition for taking this outstanding course from their high school in their permanent record.
Spring: No required course
Grade 12 Fall: The History of Zionism Reinforcing our students’ ties with Israel as they prepare to leave for college
Fall and Spring, second period:
Senior Seminar – with the Rabbi
Note: Seniors have a monthly dinner with the Rabbi in lieu of a 1st period class in the Spring semester.
