September 17, 2011

Shabbat Services begin at 10am, followed by a Kiddush lunch sponsored by Adrienne London & family in memory of Lance's 5th yahrzeit. We are pleased to be joined by distinguished scholar Helen Fein, Ph.D. Celebration of a Life’s Work, will include discussion of her latest book Human Rights and Wrongs: Slavery, Terror, Genocide and questions about post holocaust ethics and activism. Fein will help us to prepare for the upcoming high holidays discussing tikkun olam (repairing the world).
