Support Group Forming: Overcoming Isolation in Retirement
Jewish Family Services of Dutchess County is forming a support group for seniors who are looking for support in overcoming a sense of isolation and/or loneliness. The first group meeting will take place late August or early September 2010 and is open to participants in their senior years (ages 55-80). The group is run free of charge, but there is a suggested donation to Jewish Family Services of $10 per session.

The new support group will take place on Wednesday mornings at 9:45 am, at the Jewish Community Center of Dutchess County, 110 Grand St., Poughkeepsie. The group is co-led by Dr. Linda Tafapolsky, Licensed Psychologist, and Mr. Lee Corwin, psychotherapist.
