We have expanded our scrip program! You can now order scrip to hundreds of stores, restaurants, and hotels. Hannaford Supermarket has joined Adams, ShopRite, and Stop & Shop in selling scrip as well.
For those of you who still don’t know about scrip, it’s an easy way to support the Temple’s budget without spending an extra dollar. We could raise $20,000 if just 300 families spent $125 a month on scrip.
Winter is lapping at our doors. Snow blowers, shovels and ice melt are part of any winter in the Hudson Valley and Adams, Home Depot, Lowes and Sears are great places to shop, so be sure to stock up on scrip before you go.
Scrip can be the perfect gift for family, friends and teachers, as gift cards are always the right fit! Think of purchasing your Barnes & Noble, Starbucks, Bath & Body Works, Build-a-Bear, Brookstone, Marshalls/ TJ Maxx, Macy’s, Home Depot, Dicks Sporting Goods, LL Bean, Lands End, Talbots, restaurants, and more gift cards through the Temple office.

Purchasing scrip can be done by calling or coming into the temple office using cash, check or charge (for purchases over $250). While we keep over a dozen stores on hand, all others can be ordered in just two weeks time.

How Scrip works:

- Scrip is a term that means “substitute money.” They are the same gift cards that are purchased in the stores.
- Temple Beth-El receives the noted percentage of each card sold.
- Please circle denomination of card that you would like (see attached form)
- Sorry, no refunds or exchanges.
- Orders must be accompanied by payments of cash, check or credit card (minimum credit card purchases are $250 which can be a combination of retailers).
- Orders will be placed 2 times per month and will be available to pick up at the office.
