President - Eric Goldstone
Eric Goldstone resides in Clinton Corners, NY with his wife, Miriam, and their two daughters, Callie and Liza. In his spare time, he is president of Goldstone Portfolios Incorporated, the investment management practice he established in 1989.
His family was dedicated members of the Jewish Community in Scranton, Pennsylvania where Eric was born and raised. He earned a BA from Columbia and an MBA from NYU's Graduate School of Business Administration.
In the years prior to "making aliyah" to the Temple Beth-El presidency, Eric served enthusiastically on our synagogue's Fund Raising, Long Range Planning, Budget, Synaplex, and Rabbi Search Committees, as a trustee for ten years, and as Vice President of Finance for four years. He also enjoys occasional opportunities afforded him to substitute teach at TBE's award-winning religious school.
Secretary - Ellen Pollack Sackstein
Ellen Pollack Sackstein is a real estate attorney and mother of a teenage son. She has been a member of Temple Beth-El for the past 10 years, although her husband Steve’s family has belonged to TBE for over 40 years. Ellen has been a member of the Board of Trustees for the past 3 years and is in her second year as an officer on the Executive Committee, in the position of Secretary.
