Nancy Judson has been a member of the Temple Beth-El community ever since she, her husband and two daughters moved from Manhattan in 1999.   Nancy earned her undergraduate degree in dance and a master's degree in early childhood and elementary education from Bank Street College of Education.  For fifteen years she taught movement as a specialist in public and private school settings.  Nancy has periodically taught Israeli Folk dance, Bible stories through movement and Torah Yoga in both the Temple Beth-El Religious School and Adult Education programs. In July 2011 Nancy began a new chapter in her life to become the Interim Director of the Temple Beth-El Religious School. She looks forward to sharing the Jewish educational journey of every Temple Beth-El family throughout our year together.

 Susan Petendree has worked at Temple Beth-El since 1997. She serves as the Religious School Administrative Assistant as well as assisting in the temple office. Susan was an English teacher in Yonkers prior to moving to Poughkeepsie in 1978. She has been married to Richard for 35 years and they have three sons who grew up in Poughkeepsie and graduated from the TBE Religious School. Susan loves to knit, read and travel (cruises are her favorite), and she especially loves traveling to visit her two older sons. Susan is a people person who welcomes everyone who comes into the temple office with a friendly greeting and a smile.
